I’m gonna start off by saying I almost blew off this post. I’ve set up a 30-day challenge, but not all days are equal. Today hasn’t been a bad day. In fact, it’s been a very productive day. But I’m thoroughly exhausted.
One of the things I’ve come to rely on as a member of the WordPress community is just how easy it is to follow other people’s blogs. However, just as Google is telling you what its algorithm thinks you want to know, sometimes it’s easy to get stuck in world of WordPress and never read blogs that don’t pop up in your reader.
Today I’m going to suggest that we break from the WordPress mold and step outside our platform to learn from a truly inspiring individual. I met him at Writer’s Digest Conference East, and anyone interested in writing (and chances are, if you’re reading this, you qualify) should check out the amazing Chuck Sambuchino. Chuck writes on many issues relevant to writers, including finding an agent, getting published, and just maintaining your sense of humor through life. Chuck is a super human being: gruff on the outside but all gooey on the inside. A delightful and intense person, he’s inspired me to keep working.
Even when I’m so tired I can barely type. So, a very brief post to keep my 30-day challenge alive. If my brevity leaves you wanting, go read Chuck for a bit. I promise, you’ll be hooked!
